Confidence In Leadership
Everyone has leadership skills, talents, and abilities, but everyone does not put them to their best use. Creating a vision for you or your organization, considering your campus legacy, using affirmations to get want you want, and more will be shared in this fun and interesting session that has been presented more than 150 times in the past five years all across the United States. This program is for anyone looking to grow in their student leadership roles, take charge of their life and the results they achieve, as well as people who never plan to take on a formal leadership position.
This is an interactive presentation that engages the audience in creating immediate success tools. Students will work individually and in small groups to discuss how they can overcome barriers, fears, and roadblocks to the things they want. It was developed after Dave saw so many of his energetic, excited, super students fail to take on leadership opportunities. When asked about this, the response was many times things like “What if I’m no good?”, “I have no idea what I am doing or what that position requires”, and the big one, “What if I fail?” “Confidence In Leadership” addresses these and many other concerns in showing students how to be confident in themselves, their abilities, and the things they want to accomplish.
Confidence is considered to be the number one trait that people look for in a mate, seek in a potential employee, or want when things get tough. Equipping your students with a path towards greater confidence will help them in all aspects of their academic career and their life beyond your school!
