Residence Life Leadership and Learning Experience
Residence Life staffs play a critical role in the development of supportive and vibrant communities across campus. This session will bring your Res Life staff together as a team, allow them to know they can depend upon on each other, and prepare them to create a strong, workable, living environments for your students that will allow them to thrive and succeed.
Learning Outcomes
- Staff members will know 5 keys to managing conflict and dealing with issues between roommates and other members of the living community
- Students will experience a 3 step approach to developing a positive attitude and maintaining that to create academic success and be able to share this with their residents
- The staff will develop as a team though interactive, bonding activities that they can repeat throughout the year to draw their group of students together in a positive way
